We are Bristol's only climbing shop and proud to be family owned and operated since 1981. Whether you are going sport climbing up at Hidden Valley or heading to Grayson Highlands for a weekend of bouldering, we have the knowledge and gear you may need for your next climb. Our staff loves to climb so don't hesitate to stop in and ask us what problem we have been working on lately or some info on an area you have never been to before.

GHSP Bouldering Maps
Over 2 years in the making, Aaron Parlier drew this bouldering map of Grayson Highlands and it has over 500 boulder problems on it along with park trails and more. They are available at MSL or at Aaron's climbing gym in Boone, Center 45!
Hidden Valley Climbing Area
Whether your passion is 5.13 roof crimps, 5.11 finger cracks, or 5.6 positive angled ramps, Hidden Valley should be high on your list of places to climb. The Hidden Valley climbing area is the closest crag to our shop and we are so lucky to be within 30 minutes of over 475 sport and trad routes! Stop by the shop and we can show you some of our favorite routes in the valley!

Grayson Highlands Bouldering
Not only is Grayson Highlands State Park one of the most beautiful parks in the US but it also is home to some of the best bouldering around with dedicated bouldering trails such as the Listening Rock Trail! Over 350 classic and great places to camp will have you visiting GHSP time and time again...don't forget to pet the ponies!
